Bodo Richardt
Bodo Richardt has been an accountant for over 30 years.  He has worked in a variety of professional practices including practices of sizes ranging from the big 4 to SMPs working in his native Germany, France and the United States.  He has experienced and enjoyed working on international and national standard setting boards including the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW).  He has also had the possibility to serve the auditing profession as Bavarian President and a member of the Wirtschaftsprüferkammer Advisory Board.  He currently works as a self-employed practitioner (SMP) to SMEs and family owned businesses where he specialises in the provision of expert opinions on audit and accounting related questions, business valuations, mediation and arbitration.

Lamiya Bayramova is a lawyer and licensed auditor and member of Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She graduated with Honors Diploma Bachelor Degree on International Law, Khazar University (1996-2000) and Master of Law Degree, Khazar   University (2000-2002).


She worked in private and public sector Chamber of Accounts (Supreme Audit Institution), of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Since 2008 year she is founder and director “ L.B. Audit Service” (Independent member LEA –Leading Edge Alliance Global) and “L.B. Consulting Companies.

The Schipper Groep is a accounting firm and advice office with approximately 325 employees over 11 offices all located in the South-West of the Netherlands. We offer our clients services as accounting, tax advice,  pension advice, financing advice and corporate finance. Our company attains a turnover of about  € 28M.

Schipper Accountants is a member of CPAA International (www.cpaai.com). In the Nederlands the other members are De Jong & Laan, JAN and Wesselman – connected in the association CPAAN. I am the chairman of this association.

The members have created a Human Development and Management Development learning path. This training is sold to the SRA and further developed by CPAAN. Every year 20 till 30 potentials  participate this training. There also exist several working groups such as a board, consultations about pension advice, reviews in the practices of controlling, education, and such. In 2015 CPA Belgium joined our association and also participates in the board and the learning paths we developed.

Ezequiel Fernandes has been working in accounting for more than 30 years.  After his Bachelor's Degrees in Accountancy and Administration and in Business Management he took a master in International Cooperation and Development. Ezequiel Fernandes acquired professional experience in a wide range of entities. He worked as an advisor in Internal Auditing and Human Resources Management and as a Director for Administration in private small and medium-size companies and has been teaching Accountancy, Ethics and Finances at several universities in Lisbon.

Ezequiel Fernandes is a member of the Ordem dos Técnicos Oficiais de Contas (OTOC) since 1997. After serving as the President of OTOC's Registration Committee, Ezequiel Fernandes became a member of OTOC's Board of Directors.

José María Hinojal is a Partner of Abante Auditores in Madrid.  He started his career in 1989 and since that date has specialised in the field of audit where he has audited mainly industrial and commercial companies.  He is the current representative of Abante Auditores in the audit and accounting association of DFK International and belongs to the commission formed for the Spanish Audit Supervisor (ICAC) for translation of ISAs into Spanish and has collaborated in seminars related to accountancy and auditing for many years.

Marcus Tuschen, born 1960, is Tax Adviser and Certified Auditor and partner of a small practice with 30 employees in Meschede, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. After finishing his Business Studies at the University of Paderborn in 1985, he worked as a Tax Consultant and Audit Assistant. As he became certified Tax Adviser in 1989 and Certified Auditor in 1991, he promoted to be a partner of the practice. The focus of his work is audit, accounting and tax advice for SMEs but he is also working as a certified quality control auditor.

He brings a strong record in the work of an association, being Member of the Board of the Association of Tax Advisers of Westphalia-Lippe since 1999 and its President since 2011. Furthermore he is also Vice President of the German Association of Tax Advisers (DStV) since 2013 and responsible for the field of accounting and auditing. Since 2016 he is also member of the Board of the European federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs (EFAA).

Paul Thompson is EFAA Director and a consultant dedicated to thought leadership and development of the global accountancy profession. From 2004 to 2016 Mr. Thompson worked for IFAC latterly as Director, Global Accountancy Profession Support, a role that extended to overseeing the IFAC Global Knowledge Gateway, research and innovation, and activities in support of small- and medium-sized practices (SMP) and professional accountants in business (PAIB). Mr. Thompson also serves on the SME Implementation Group, an advisory body to the International Accounting Standard Board (Board), and is a member of Nottingham University Business School Malaysia’s Industry Advisory Board (IAB), an advisory group providing strategic advice to the Business School. He advises developing professional accountancy organisations in Europe and Asia. Previously Mr. Thompson worked for Touche Ross & Co., London before going on to lecture on corporate reporting and analysis at universities in the UK, Singapore, and Malaysia. He has a number of publications in academic journals and the professional press in the areas of ethical finance, corporate reporting, corporate governance, integrated reporting, practice management and the future of the profession. Mr. Thompson graduated from the University of Warwick with a bachelor of science in accounting and financial analysis and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mr. Thompson is an internationally ranked masters distance runner.

Marie Lang is EFAA's Director of Professional Development. She graduated with honours with a degree in Economics from Lancaster University, England and is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the ICAEW. She was Senior Manager at KPMG dealing with Audit, Assurance and Transaction Services engagements for large and multinational listed companies. She spent 9 years at KPMG in total which included a 1year secondment to KPMG Prague. She left KPMG to work in the SME sector where she spent 8 years in the position of Financial Controller having overall responsibility for financial reporting and matters. She currently works with GBAC Accountants and Business Advisers, an SMP, focusing primarily on SME issues.

Marie works closely with the Board of EFAA supporting them as required and is a member of all EFAA expert groups.
