Mogens Olsen was re-elected a member of the EFAA Board at the General Assembly of 2008. He represents the Danish Institute of Certified Public Accountant (FRR - Foreningen Registrerede Revisore) which he presides since 2001.
Mogens Olsen also runs his own auditing practice and is senior partner in the auditing company Dansk Revision. He previously worked for Deloitte & Touche (1977-1982) and qualified as a certified public accountant in 1982. Mogens Olsen held and still holds several positions of trust. In 1989, he was member of the Board of FRR. Between 1989 and 2001, he chaired several FRR's committees on accounting, auditing and quality. He is a member of the Council of the Danish Chamber of Commerce and a Delegate to the IFAC Council. He ran twice the Presidency of the Nordic Association of Registered Accountants (NFRR) in 2002-2003 and 2005-2006. Mogens Olsen is also a member of the working group on the evaluation of the statutory thresholds of the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency. He is an observatory delegate of the Nordic Federation of Public Accountants (NRF). |
