EFAA Board: Marcos Anton Renart

Dr. Marcos Anton Renart was elected to the Board at the 2010 General Assembly. He represents the Spanish organisation Consejo General de Colegios de Economistas de España, CGCEE. Since 2008, he is the Chief Executive Officer of the Spanish national registry of “Experts in Accounting and Financial Information” (ECIF. www.ecif.eu )-CGCEE. He is involved in all the ECIF activities, among others, coordination, monitoring, deployment, and development of all the activities carried out by ECIF. Among others, training courses, publications or advisory in consultations about accounting and financial information. Member of the ECIF Technical Board and Advisory Board, he is also a Board member of the Spanish national registry of Economists Financial Analysts-CGCEE (2010) and a member of the EFAA SME's Experts Group (since 2008). Among other professional activities he is, as Economist, a consultant for SMEs and microenterprises. Ph.D. from the University of Murcia (Spain) with mention of European Doctor (Business Sciences area) (2005), he is Professor of Accounting at the University of Murcia, Spain (since 2000) and a Member of the Spanish Association of University Professors of Accounting (ASEPUC). Currently combines teaching (various areas of accounting) with research (mainly economic-financial analysis of firms). Author of several papers and books published at a national and international level, in the recent years he has also taught seminars and training courses for professionals and attended to seminars and conferences in Spain and abroad. Since 2008, he is also the coordinator of the Master in Auditing of the University of Murcia / ENAE-Spain. |
