Manuel Hernando was re-elected to the Board at the 2008 General Assembly. He represents the Spanish organisation "Consejo General de Colegios de Economistas de España" (CGCEE), of which he is the General Executive Manager.
After graduating in Economics from the University Complutense of Madrid, he started his career in the field of education as a lecturer in Economics at the Universities of Madrid and Valencia in Spain, and at the Lanchester Polytechnic in Coventry, UK.
He then worked in an international company with commercial relations in the Middle East and South America and as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand in Madrid. Manuel Hernando was a member of the "Registro de Economistas Auditores (REA)" of the CGCEE and its Secretary General. He participated in several national and European technical experts committees, among which EFAA committees on Audit standards, Ethics, Quality control and Training. |
