EFAA

European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs.

: INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS ON...

Version to print

EFAA realizes the regulatory changes that accountancy profession faces regularly require a substantial effort. In some instances though, it can be translated into new professional opportunities especially if the threads are successfully mitigated by good institutional and professional preparation to address the changes. Recently, the audit area has undergone a lot of regulatory changes and some more seem to be still in the pipeline. EFAA recognizes that the auditing standards are very important tools for the profession and the prospects of introducing International Standards on Auditing (ISA) in Europe may really have an impact on the audit practices and firms. We would like to ask your active input at this early stage to help identify the level of preparation that still will be needed should ISA become our daily reality as well as to estimate the potential educational gap.  EFAA would like to promote useful initiatvies.

We are seeking views from all over Europe, being particularly interested at those coming from small and medium-sized practitioners. The completing of the questionnaire should not take longer than 20 minutes of your precious time. All individual responses will remain anonymous.

We would appreciate your input by 30 November 2008.
