EFAA Board: Hans Rijkse

Hans Rijkse was elected to the Board at the 2009 General Assembly. He represents the Dutch organisation NOvAA.
Hans Rijkse started his career as accountant in 1974 within his father's firm Accountants en Adviesgroep Rijkse (AAR), of which he is since 1985 a partner and since 1996 the chairman of the management team. AAR employs over 100 people and has five offices in Zealand.
Since the mid-90's, Hans Rijkse held and has been holding several positions such as member of the NOvAA institute offering services to professional in difficulties, member of the Dutch Belgian discussion platform for accountants, member of the court of conflict for accountants, member of a joint NOvAA/MKB Nederland (Dutch SME organisation) committee, Board member of NOvAA and NOVAK,
Hans Rijkse has been very involved in the professional education field. He was a member of the Board of VEDAA, the Institute for Education for accountants and currently acts as a mentor for accountants in practical education and jury for practical education accountants' exams. He is the chairman of NOvAA education committee.
Hans Rijkse was also a member of the redaction advisory Board of an accountancy magazine. Hans Rijkse graduated as accountant at the Institute ‘Preahep en Recapp' in 1984 |
