The main tasks of the auditing expert group are: - to comment on IAASB exposure drafts;
- to work with the IAASB to ensure that redrafted ISAs take account of the needs of SMPs (and SMEs);
- to work with EGAOB and national audit regulators to ensure that SMP/SME interests are taken into account;
- to comment on the EU's "Simplification" proposals; and
- to maintain the dialogue with the DG Internal Market Auditing Department.
